A sound bath is a meditative experience where participants are "bathed" in sound waves produced by various instruments such as singing bowls, gongs, tuning forks, and chimes. These sounds are meant to help relax the body and mind.
The vibrations from the instruments used in a sound bath are believed to create a calming effect, helping to reduce stress, promote relaxation, and encourage a meditative state.
No prior experience with meditation is necessary. The sound bath experience is meant to be accessible to everyone, whether you're new to meditation or experienced.
Comfortable, loose-fitting clothing is recommended, as you will likely be lying down for the duration of the session.
We recommend bringing a yoga mat, blanket, pillow, or any other items that can make you feel more comfortable while lying down. Some people also bring eye masks to block out light.
The session will last 1 hour
Sound baths are believed to promote relaxation, reduce stress, enhance mental clarity, help with sleep, and improve mood. Some participants report feeling deeply rested and rejuvenated.
Sound baths are generally safe for most people, but if you're pregnant, have a medical condition (such as epilepsy), or are sensitive to certain frequencies, it's a good idea to consult your doctor before attending.
There's no specific preparation required, but it's helpful to come with an open mind and a willingness to relax. Avoid heavy meals before the session, and make sure you’re hydrated.
Some people do fall asleep, and that's perfectly okay. The deep relaxation can naturally lead to sleep for some participants.
